How Much?
Use the rates in the table* below to work out just how much you can earn by planting. For example, if you plant 100 acres (40 hectares) of land with Sitka Spruce, you could earn €20,800 a year for 15 years. Planting 40ha of Native Woodland will earn you €27,200 a year! The type of tree planted is decided by land suitability and personal preference.
