The Big Bang Theory – is it Fact or Fiction?

Share

Today the big bang theory is considered an unquestionable scientific truth as to the origin of the universe. Scientists congratulate themselves on their brilliance at discovering one of nature’s greatest secrets. Meanwhile, billions of research dollars pour into the greatest academic gravy train the world has ever seen. But, Anthony Woods asks, is the big bang theory going off the tracks?

The term ‘big bang’ was originally coined by the renowned astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle. It was meant as an insult to describe the crazy idea that the universe just magically popped itself into existence – something Hoyle considered complete gibberish.

Although the phrase ‘big bang’ was meant as a stinging insult, the press adopted it as it was so catchy and it soon became a mainstream term. Prior to the widespread acceptance of the big bang theory, many leading scientific minds championed an eternal ‘steady state’ universe. However that all changed with two significant developments.

Primeval Atom Theory

The first was the ‘primeval atom’ theory. It was promoted by Catholic priest and astronomer Fr Georges Lemaître. Lemaître argued that the physical universe was initially a single particle which he called the “primeval atom.” Which disintegrated in an explosion that gave rise to space, time and matter. This idea marked the birth of what we now know today as the big bang theory and was hugely popular with the Pope of the time who saw it as proof of an act of creation.

Expanding Universe

The second was the ‘expanding universe’ theory as promoted by Edward Hubble. Hubble discovered a ‘redshift’ in the light emitted from neighbouring galaxies. He interpreted this as proof that the universe was expanding.

Further observations of redshift by other scientists has led to the apparent expansion of the universe being considered an unquestionable scientific gospel for almost a century. Yet it has emerged in recent years that Mr Hubble fiddled the books. He essentially cherrypicked the data that supported his expanding universe theory and disregarded the data that didn’t.

Other explanations for redshift have also emerged which were not known at the time. The merging of both these theories led to the ‘big bang’ theory which is still considered scientific gospel today. Ironically, despite their enormous influence on modern science, neither Lemaître or Hubble were considered worthy of a Nobel prize.

The Big Bang Today

Today the big bang is considered an unquestionable truth, a scientific gospel that cannot be questioned. Yet examine it closely and the cracks are plain to see. Over the last few decades, the theory has been adjusted an astonishing 40 times to account for all the new evidence that contradicts it.

Methuselah stars have now been found that are older than the universe is supposed to be. When we look into deep space, we don’t see an expanding universe. We find super structures such as the Hercules–Corona Borealis Great Wall which is an astonishing 10 billion light years across. Our own Milky Way galaxy is contained within a gigantic supercluster called Laniakea.

Study the images of Laniakea, which in Hawaiian means ‘immeasurable heaven’, and it’s very obvious that the supercluster is not expanding. It’s magnetism that is running the show. Magnetic field lines appear before galaxies are formed, leading some maverick scientists to describe magnetism as the very ‘soul of the universe’. They are ahead of their time.

Contradicting Evidence

In recent years, as the evidence contradicting the big bang theory has started to pile up, ever more elaborate and evasive explanations are offered. The big bang theory itself reads like a hodge-podge of jargon and gibberish. It can be summarised as follows: In the beginning there was no time or space.

Then suddenly it magically popped into existence via a quantum fluctuation (how convenient). It broke every known law of nature for millions of years. This is including the speed of light (nothing can move faster than light) and the conservation of energy (energy cannot be created or destroyed it just changes form). This is until it settled down into a hot cosmic soup that eventually cooled and led to the formation of trillions of galaxies.

These galaxies are mostly made out of a substance that has never been found (dark matter/energy). No wonder the big bang theory was lapped up by religious zealots – it’s even more supernatural than their own creation myths.

Why is the Big Bang not Questioned?

So why hasn’t the big bang been questioned until now? The answer is very obvious – money. The big bang gravy train has been pumping billions upon billions of research dollars into the world’s cash-starved universities for decades.

Those who dare question the dogma face ridicule, funding cuts, and career assassinations. The few who do question it are often forced to leave big mainstream universities to join small alternative organizations. At least there, they have the academic freedom to research what they wish without being censored, compromised or corrupted.

As flashy tv shows with high-profile scientists preach the big bang gospel, the theory is more popular than ever. However, it’s a theoretical house of cards about to collapse. The author suggests that within a generation, it will eventually be consigned to the dustbin of history. Although the transition will not be easy – expect academic fireworks. There is simply far too much money, ego, and pride at stake for big bangers to admit that the emperor has no clothes.

Science Problems

Science is far from the champion of independent thought it claims to be. Imagine if a researcher working in a top university asked for $1m dollars from their boss to prove that the big bang theory was wrong. They would not only be laughed out of the room, but they would also be told never to speak of such things again.

Something along the lines of, “This cash-starved university generates millions in research money each year from the big bang theory. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you!” The brutal truth is science cannot afford financially or reputationally for the big bang to be proven wrong. They will defend it with their last breath, until the proof becomes so overwhelming that (like so many times in the past) it will be replaced by a blaze of self-congratulation for new a ‘scientific breakthrough.’

Which, of course, completely ignores the fact that accepted science was completely wrong for over a century. The big bang theory is often described as the holy grail of science. Although in reality, the big bang theory is a myth, and it is in big trouble. Every year the evidence that contradicts it keeps piling higher and higher. The cracks have appeared and are to be welcomed. It’s only when the cracks appear, that the light can get in.

How the big bang will be proved wrong

The Big Bang Theory - is it Fact or Fiction?

So why hasn’t the big bang been questioned until now? The answer is very obvious – money.

There are 3 main things that will eventually prove the big bang is wrong. The first is cosmic dust. It turns out space is not empty after all, as was thought for almost a century. It’s a very dusty place, littered with tiny parties called cosmic dust. These particles absorb and emit light which causes a phenomenon called ‘red shift.’ This plays absolute havoc with scientific readings.

Put simply, redshift is the main reason astronomers believe the universe is expanding. However this conclusion was formed long before it was realised that cosmic dust was also causing redshifts. The second big reason is primordial black holes. When the big bang theory was being developed, black holes were a fringe theory, and not accounted for in mainstream science.

This is significant because black holes exist in the centre of every galaxy and store an awesome amount of mass, information and energy. More than enough to account for the so-called missing dark energy and matter the big bangers so crave. Expect the phrase ‘nothing escapes a black hole, not even light’ to be overturned within a decade. Scientists will finally realise that cosmic jets called quasars form inside a black hole, not outside in the accretion disc, as is currently believed.

Black Holes

It will be discovered that a black hole is not a one-way street from which nothing escapes. Rather it’s a recycling system that shoots out light, mass, information, water, and all the building blocks of life across the cosmos via cosmic jets. Every atom in your body was forged in the heavens – you are literally made from stardust. There is nothing in the current big bang theory that cannot be explained by primordial black holes and cosmic dust.

The final nail in the big bang coffin will be the widespread scientific acceptance of ‘syntropy’ – the opposite of entropy. Entropy is the cornerstone of modern science. Put simply, it states that things tend to lose energy and move from ‘order to disorder.’ Entropy is often called ‘death physics’ or the ‘arrow of time’ because it causes things to age. As something loses energy it ages.

The definition of the universe is ‘all that is’ and since there is nothing ‘outside’ the universe, there is nowhere for the universe to actually lose energy to. As a result, the universe cannot lose energy and that which cannot lose energy cannot age – it is therefore eternal. One of the most fundamental principles of nature is ‘energy cannot be created or destroyed – it just transforms.’

An Intelligent Purpose

Many of the finest minds humanity has ever produced such as Buckminster Fuller, Luigi Fantappi, Erwin Schrodinger etc were all proponents of ‘syntropy’ (AKA negentropy). They claimed it was the opposite of entropy. While entropy is the movement from ‘order to disorder,’ syntropy is the movement from ‘disorder to order.’

Syntropy is avoided like the plague by modern mechanistic scientists as it demonstrates an organising principle behind nature, a ‘future cause.’ Essentially to accept syntropy is to accept that the universe has an intelligent purpose – an admission that is kryptonite for many scientists.

So instead, they use the vague term ‘self organising systems’. Science will finally realise that the amount of entropy in the universe is perfectly balanced by the amount of syntropy. When this happens an ocean of scientific breakthroughs will follow.

While the author is certain that the content of this article is accurate, he appreciates this work will be considered gibberish by some and pseudoscience by others. However, you are not asked to believe a single word in this article, only to think for yourself. So if the universe is not a big bang what is it? The universe is not a big bang, it’s a big brain – an infinite, intelligent, eternally recycling system that’s constantly evolving.
