Taurus and Aries
This can be an excellent combination, and makes for a successful romantic relationship or marriage. The Aries initiates action and is comfortable in taking the leadership role in the relationship. While the Taurus holds a more grounded and structured rein, helping to contain the Aries nature, and allowing him or her think they are in control of the relationship. The dynamic Aries helps motivate the slower Taurus, helping to stimulate and keep them moving forward. What they are attracted in each other, is also what they may grow to dislike in each other over time. The attraction between these two is well-founded. Aries is ruled by Mars, and seeks out love and romance. They are attracted to the Taurean nature, which is ruled by Venus the goddess Love.
Taurus with Taurus
Although initially this appears to be a compatible combination, this would not be the most exciting duo. Both are domestic creatures who prefer the comfort and safety of their own home to the adventure of going out. Because they are both earth signs, serious difficulties could arise because one is as possessive as the other, jealousy is also going to be a bone of contention. Tempers will quickly fly if one of these stubborn creatures is not prepared to give when the accusations fly. Both will be hardworking, loyal, and affectionate. The biggest problem for these bulls, is because of their tendency to be frugal, boredom may set in after the first blooms of love have gone. The solution is for each to get involved in some outside hobbles or socialise with different friends.
Taurus with Gemini
This is an unlikely combination. The Taurus is solid and fixed in opinions, resistant to change, but also sensuous, with a passion for possessions and the beautiful things of life. Conversely, the Gemini personality is outgoing and challenging, and may prove to be too restless for the Taurus, who needs structure and some sense of regularity of lifestyle. Emotionally speaking this duo are at odds. The Mercurial temperament of the Gemini requires constant change, and all kinds of excitement, immediately conflicting with the Taurean desire for security and stability. The Taurus is a creature of habit and eventually may simply place too many demands on the Gemini who will seek to escape.
Taurus with Cancer
This has the makings of a good combination. Both are home-lovers desiring security and affection. Both have very similar goals, Taurus is ambitious for money and security, Cancer is maternal and loving, these similar interests and desires make for a harmonious mating. This is a good combination as both signs are attracted to each other’s sense for feelings and emotions. The Taurean placid nature is a good balance for Cancer’s moodiness, and both being passionate home-loving people, like to make their home a very special place. On every level they have a lot going for them, both being highly sexual, though at times plain-spoken.
Taurus with Leo
This is a good combination, particularly when both understand the specific needs of the other person. The Taurus is a lover of beautiful things, and takes great pride in admiring his or her possessions, particularly their Leo mate. This attitude blends in well with the Leo’s demand for constant praise and adulation. There is a basic conflict with the Leo’s outgoing nature, which seems to be larger than life and at times will irritate the Taurus. However the Taurus will quickly temper it and bring the Leo back into line. If Leo does manage to become dominant, the patient Taurus will eventually walk away when their needs are not being met.
Taurus with Virgo
Both being earth signs, there will be much in common for this duo – they are home-loving and share the same intellectual pursuits. The Virgo and Taurus desire material success and security and a peaceful, loving home. The stubborn Taurus will be in for a big shock when he or she does not get his way with the Virgo’s sharp mind and even sharper tongue. Both are well-grounded and they share the same intellectual interests. Taurus’s tenacity and Virgo’s sharp mind are a good combination for success. One area of likely contention is that of sexuality. The Taurus is more physical, while the Virgo finds other interests generally more attractive. Both thrifty and cautious with money, they will mostly always have a nice little nest egg ready for a rainy day.
Taurus with Libra
Both of these signs are ruled by Venus the love goddess, and have sensual loving natures, but each expresses this quality in a different way. Taurus finds the Libra a warm, romantic and a charming partner. The Libra by nature is indecisive, and if there is one thing that really gets the Taurus annoyed, it’s someone being indecisive. Libra, an air sign, loves to roam while Taurus, an earth sign, loves to stay at home and do the garden. However if there are common interests and a meeting of the minds, this can be a very good combination. The success of this relationship will require Libra’s sense of diplomacy and Taurean patience.
Taurus with Scorpio
This earth and water sign combination is basically an attraction of opposites, of which they are in the zodiac. But they have more in common than would be have been initially thought. Both are determined, ambitious, and neither tends to roam, they each have a strong sexual nature and will find much in common than would be expected of opposites. Each of these signs are intensely passionate, and both jealous and possessive types. This combination usually manifests itself in a strong physical attraction at first, however, there are two strong wills at work here, and if sparks start to fly, the Taurus better watch out, the sting of the scorpion is considered deadly.
Taurus with Sagittarius
The Taurus in this combination will certainly have his or her work well cut out. The Sagittarius being a freedom-loving creature will love to roam free and will resist any suggestions to make a long-term commitment. The Taurus is home-loving and probably a little bit boring for the adventurous nature of the Sagittarius. There is one area in which both are equally suited and that is their uninhibited passionate nature. With some hard work and a lot of understanding of each other’s needs, they can find harmony in their characters as long as they allow each other their personalities.
Taurus with Capricorn
This can be a good match. They are both earth signs, they have copious quantities of passions that are straightforward and uncomplicated. They even have a mutual desire for success and material things. With responsible and practical natures, they quickly fall in line with common goals and desires for the future. In the beginning the Capricorn may seem a bit cold, but the Taurus-Venus rays will quickly melt the seemingly cold exterior of the Capricorn. Capricorn is a bit more secretive than Taurus would like, but all the same Capricorn’s loyalty makes Taurus feel secure, this relationship looks more than promising for the long term.
Taurus with Aquarius
At best this is an unlikely combination, the Aquarius is unconventional, and being unpredictable may prove too much for the easy-going Taurus nature. Taurus is conservative, and passionate, while Aquarius operates on a mental plane. Both enjoy ease and comfort but their views on how to obtain them are completely different. The Aquarius is not at the best of times a natural long-term home lover. While they will love their homes, they deeply desire openness and self-expression. They will quickly become uncomfortable and irritable when the Taurus tries to contain him or her; the Taurus likewise becomes annoyed when the Aquarius sets off on some adventure and refuses to be restricted to a timetable.
Taurus with Pisces
Although the Pisces may not understand the Tuarean materialistic approach to life, this team have the makings of a dependable loving relationship. Usually it is a very happy combination, the Taurus will be devoted and the Pisces adoring. The Pisces’ romantic, imaginative nature is just what the Taurus is looking for. The Pisces brings mystery and illusion to the basic Taurus nature. Pisces is easily clouded by deep emotions but can be brought to reality by the Taurean down-to-earth nature. The Taurus in turn can be helped by the Pisces personality. Lots of good stuff, but watch the emotions.
