England now 8/5 to win Six Nations
The Six Nations kicks off this coming weekend and BoyleSports can report that punters believe England will win the competition outright having last lifted the trophy back in 2011.
Eddie Jones’ squad are now 8/5 from 7/4 to win the tournament which has seen current holders Ireland eased out to 3/1 from 5/2 as they bid to win a third consecutive tournament.
Wales are next in the betting at 16/5 with France priced at 11/2. Scotland can be backed at 16/1 with Italy the tournament outsiders at 1000/1.
The Grand Slam was last won by Wales back in 2012 and its currently 4/7 that we won’t see a winner this year with England on offer at 4/1 and Ireland priced at 8/1 to repeat their 2009 success.
Ireland last won the Triple Crown in 2009 and Joe Schmidt’s side can be backed at 7/2 to record victories over England, Scotland and Wales whilst No Winner currently heads the betting at 13/8.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “All the money is for England to dethrone Ireland of the Six Nations crown and following further support Eddie Jones’ squad are now 8/5 from 7/4 and currently pose as the biggest liability in the book for the firm. Despite Ireland being eased out to 3/1 to win the Six Nations for a third consecutive year we are seeing plenty of patriotic support for Joe Schmidt’s squad to win the Triple Crown at 7/2.”
So what does Old Moore say? He says his money is still on Ireland.
